Bengals Receiver Misses Practice Due to Illness

Star Wideout Expected to Return Soon

Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja'Marr Chase missed practice on Saturday due to food poisoning, according to head coach Zac Taylor. Taylor said that Chase is expected to return to practice soon and is not expected to miss any games. Chase is one of the Bengals' most important players and his absence would be a major blow to the team. The 23-year-old wide receiver had a breakout season in 2021, catching 81 passes for 1,455 yards and 13 touchdowns. He was a key part of the Bengals' run to the Super Bowl, where they lost to the Los Angeles Rams. The Bengals are hoping to make another run to the Super Bowl this season and Chase will be a key part of their success. The team is scheduled to open the season on September 11th against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
